Michael B. O'Hara

Michael Brian O'Hara , 83, passed away in Cape Coral, Florida on January 11, 2021. Michael(our father) was born in Bronx, NY to Michael and Kathleen O'Hara. He is survived by his wife Florence,The love of his life for 62 years and their 3 children:Michael (Sheila), Christina (Trevor) and Louisa (Tom), 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Our father is also survived by his siblings, Kathleen, Patty, and Kevin. Although clinically our father passed away as the result of heart failure, Those closest to him know it was really a broken heart. The last 2 years have been too much for him to bear as he watched our mother slip further away from him and into her Alzheimer's disease.
Our father was a loving, kind and honest man who will best be remembered for playing his baby grand piano and filling our home with music, His love of writing which include his published pieces (A Short Tale of a Long, Long Tail, The Adventures of Alexander T. Frog, and Project Anasazi), His funny voices, sense of humor and most of all his selfless ever flowing love for his family. He will be missed each and every day. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and our safety concerns for all of our family members, we will plan to hold a celebration of life service at a later date. Our father will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Vineland, NJ.
