Born November 28th, 1943 in Moberly, MO. To Ralph and Catherine (Hale) Heiman.
John spent most of his early years in Lincoln Nebraska, where he graduated from University High School in 1961 and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln 1966.
John is survived by his wife Linda of 52 years, his sons John and Jason, their wives Norma and Jennifer, grandsons Chris and Brandon, his brother Paul and his wife Jeanette.
John transitioned through several careers in his life beginning with Allis Chalmers followed by Harley Davidson and finally Owner/Operator of Longmont Jewelry and Gems. John and Linda had a multitude of adventures as their careers took them to Kansas, Indiana, Virginia, Wisconsin, Colorado and finally retirement in Florida.
John was passionate about his hobbies. While working for Harley he became an avid rider, often on the road with Willy G. Creating pottery and jewelry were his primary artistic endeavors, but his love of hunting, fishing and power boating were his life long passions.
When John was not engaged with his hobbies, he loved being with family, his many friends, playing games and talking about his next adventure. He was always quick with a joke, loved life, loved people.
We will miss him.
